Leadership and Self Deception
Blind spots can kill-especially in leadership.
You cannot fight that which you cannot see, and the hidden enemy inside your ranks is more damaging than the 10,000 that may be outside your gates. The enemy we are talking about here is self-deception - those false views and opinions we hold and we accept as objective reality. This "reality" is the basis from which all of our decisions are made, how we lead and influence, and the impact we make on the culture. This self-deception readily replicates itself in the environment by directly, but unconsciously, inviting similar deceptions in those with whom we interact, further impacting the results we seek in virtually every aspect of leadership, our personal lives and relationships.
In this workshop as you learn to recognize and transcend the invisible internal bias that keeps you from making the best possible decisions for your team and organization. Further, with an unbiased mindset, you will learn and practice a powerful way to communicate more effectively with even the most difficult of people. It will give you the confidence you need to address the thorniest of issues -- those conversations that in the past have gone very poorly or have been avoided all together.
