Introduction to NLP: Aikido of Communication

Intensive 1 Day Workshop for Professionals

Aikido and NLP? Aikido, the gentle martial art, teaches the practitioner to move gracefully with vs. against the energy of the other person to achieve a goal. NLP is an advanced form of observing with all the senses in order to move with the communication patterns of the other person. Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a technology for understanding HOW people process information (think) by listening to the structure of the language they use.

The results?

  • Instant rapport.

  • Reduced resistance.

  • Clearer, more effective interactions.

  • Enhanced ability to influence others.

Why NLP?

Business professionals are more effective when they know how to establish rapport quickly and comfortably with clients, customers, and staff. Everyone needs to influence others in order to "sell" their ideas, products, services, or talents. NLP techniques recognize and use visual, auditory, and kinesthetic cues to make interpersonal communication work better.

Are you getting the effect you desire when you give instructions to employees, customers, or patients? Does it seem like other people just don't "hear" you? When you tailor your message to match the listener's perception and experience, your message will produce successful communication.

"The meaning of a communication is the effect or result it produces."

What Will I Learn?

  • How to recognize and use the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic building blocks of thought and communication.

  • How to establish rapport instantly.

  • When to “close the sale” or ask for action.

  • How to “listen with your eyes”.

  • And much more!
