What is the River Place Leadership Network?

We are an inclusive Business and Social Networking group targeting River Place, Steiner Ranch, Westminster Glenn, Jester and surrounding communities. We are planning meetings to gather and discuss time-tested and cutting edge themes in:

"Daring ideas are like chessmen moved forward; they may be beaten, but they may start a winning game."

-- Goethe

  • Sustainable Business Growth and Profitability
  • Personal and Professional Development
  • Life Balance, Social Networking and Peer Support

  • Look for our meetings to return this Fall!!

These meetings are facilitated by Executive Coach and Facilitator, Dan Morman. Topics are presented by Dan, group members, or guest speakers, with an emphasis on networking and small group discussion.

Being a new group, our focus and agendas will, and should, change over time to meet the needs of the members. However, to get things started, we offer the following topics:

Influence and Power
What got you to this level rarely gets you to the next, or at least not for long. This ability to influence (not persuade) is the missing link for many in exercising their power.

Time Poverty and You
Are you rich? By what measure? A discussion of what the most successful leaders do differently.

Creating and Reactive Leadership
Do you habitually "create" from your vision or "react" to conditions to keep ahead of alligators? Get leverage over your fears and see how your results and career take off!

Corporate Realities and the Matrix
What is real? What are you living? What are you fighting? The rules of the "game" change when we see them for what they are and for what they are not.

Purpose and Vision
Do you really have a shortage of time, or simply lack the unbridled enthusiasm and vast reservoir of energy that comes with living and acting from your core purpose?

Meetings and 17th Century Torture Techniques
Why do intelligent people spend much of their time in seemingly endless and often circular meetings? Framing tools unleash the power of a group to get results in amazingly less time.

Courage and Fear
What do you fear? What do your people fear? What is it costing you? As the poet says, "Our deepest fears are like dragons guarding our deepest treasure."

Ambition and Balance
What if you could thrive in your career without sacrificing your personal life with your family and friends? Rethinking our thinking, values, and systems…

Values and Integrity
Your personal values are, by definition, those things, that when exercised, make you happy. What are they for you? To what extent do you live them every day? How do they spread?

Balance and Everything Else
How is your "work - sleep" balance these days? How can you have it all? Or more appropriately, have what you really want?

The Integral Map and A Theory of Everything
The world in the 21st Century is nothing, if not complex. What if there were frameworks to bring order from this chaos? Ken Wilbur's integral frame continues to illuminate and transform our thinking and the solutions we seek.
